Anyone used Veygo for temporary car insurance?

It sounds great being able to insure yourself on someone else's car for 1 hour to 60 days but has anyone used them, and more importantly had to make a claim.

I am not sure how it all works.

I see they’ve changed the minimum to 24 hours over Christmas.

We used it for my 19yr old so he could drive my car when he was home - it works. Would be an expensive option for more than a few weeks at a time. Also Marmalade do similar.

We used it. Didn’t have to make a claim but we used it for 4 day insurance on a relatives car whilst we waited for our new one. It was very straightforward, we just paid and it was done. I think it was done via email

We've used it a few times. Not needed to claim though.

Thanks for the replies. It seems like a v good idea but wondered if there was a catch.
I am wondering about teenagers driving each other’s cars etc though. Not sure how I feel about that!

I've used Cuver to drive my dads car. Really easy to use.

I've used it several times to insure dd2 on my car without increasing my own insurance premium. Very straight forward to use the website. Never had to claim though.

DS2 is 19 and has his own car but very occasionally it would be helpful if he could drive mine, but I am very risk averse in general, so was curious how it works if you need to claim and how good they are there.
A tenner for an afternoon's insurance but if anything were to happen...
