MN lurkers come out of our shells

I'm a lurker- made a thread a couple of months ago and very occasionally comment on other people's but mainly just have a little look.
Any other lurkers?

I do realise this technically defeats the point, but it's a bit of fun

Been lurking on here for years, passes the time reading all the threads, have made a few comments but mostly don't bother for fear of being jumped on. I did used to have a user name which I can't even remember but for some reason it changed to a number.

Lurker here! I just made my first comment on a Make-up thread.

Feel slightly like an imposter because I'm not a mum, however certain threads have helped me through some tough times (just having people I can relate to) but too shy to post and thought it's about time I join

Also not a mum! Tbh I would say mumsnet is more of a nice community of people who may or may not be parents to converse (whether the subjects are child-rearing related or not)

@Blackbootswithredribbons
I think I wrongly assumed it was just for mums and I wouldn't be welcome, but it's good to know I am Smile

Been here 5 years or so, very occasional comment on a thread but never started one. Also not a parent.
Find it useful to see others perspectives and have learned lots too.
