Heathrow Airport - I am stressed!

My mum and stepdad booked tickets to come for Christmas (from Sweden) ages ago. For some strange reason they are arriving at Heathrow where we have never picked them up before and I'm now very very stressed! What's best for pick up? Do we have to pay congestion charges? We are collecting at terminal 5 and then driving to a covid drive through test site by terminal 4 I think. I don't cope well with not being on time so am stressed about being late to the test.
Any reassurance from anyone who have been recently would be gratefully received or feel free to tell me I should just stop stressing. I'm so looking forward to seeing them for the first time in 2 years but it feels like things will go wrong :(

Congestion Charge depends on where you are travelling from, assuming you aren’t planning to drive through central London, then no, n9 congestion charge. However, do be wary about the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). You may be exempt (check the TFL website). Heathrow is outside the ULEZ.

I haven’t done Heathrow for a while, but there may be charges for collection even if you don’t want to park.

Good luck.

Can they not make their own way and you collect at T4 once done?

You do not pay a congestion charge for Heathrow airport, but the parking charges may make your eyes water. Go to the Heathrow Terminal 5 car park that is actually in the terminal. Plan to park the car about one hour before the aircraft is due to land so no stress there. I understand that the POD car park is not available, you can check. You can drive to the Terminal 4 car park and wait while they do the test. Neither you or your parents have any control over what time the aircraft lands so you may well be late for the test but I'm sure that they will be used to that at the airport. Nobody can guarantee that nothing will go wrong so stressing.

Thanks everyone, I know my stress is not completely sensible but it's hard to stop.
The test is drive through so we do need to pick them up first and drive them over there. I think we will just have to suck up the parking charges. I'm thinking we could go wait in the long stay car park then drive to pick them up from short stay once they're through security etc.
