Would love some recommendations! Not the orchard ones as we have so many!

Thank you!

Mine really like Cosmic Coding.

Swearwolf · 19/12/2021 21:12

Ooh, and Dobble!

NannyR · 19/12/2021 21:15

Card games rather than board games - dobble and uno. I wouldn't bother getting the junior versions, as long as they can recognise colours and numbers they can play proper uno.

Ready4abreak · 19/12/2021 21:19

Uno and Dobble are great shouts. My just turned 5 year olds favourite is Junior Cluedo. He got it for christmas last year and we must have played it at least once a week for the past year.

Sweetiesweeties · 19/12/2021 21:34

I also, absolutely, recommend Funny Bunny. Another favourite is Disney the Lion King game.

MisgenderedSwan · 19/12/2021 21:39

My dc found snakes and ladders and junior monopoly fun at that age

yoshiblue · 19/12/2021 22:15

Would second Funny Bunny, Junior Monopoly and Uno. Also Junior Labyrinth which is 4 plus, Rhino Hero.

yoshiblue · 19/12/2021 22:18

Oh, look up Forbidden Island too. It says 10 +, but we've played it with our son since 6. (The Desert/Sky ones are a bit more complicated)

It's a cooperative game, so it's you as a family against the game. You'll all play it together so would be easy to keep the 4 year old on board, move the pieces/choose the moves. No tears either as you all win or lose!

JohnRokesmith · 19/12/2021 22:25

Outfoxed. It’s a co-operative deduction game for children. Works well from about four to six in particular.

ajandjjmum · 19/12/2021 22:25

Frustration - for all ages. Ours comes out every Christmas, we started this weekend and everyone's childish side comes to play! Grin

chordil · 19/12/2021 22:46

Thanks so much everyone! Hadn't even thought of cooperative games, they sound appealing for obvious reasons!
