My son’s (both 12) favourites are fifa (obviously only for the football fans) fall guys or rocket league

I guess it depends how into football he is. FIFA 21 is out of date with regards to having the correct players in each team. This is a cardinal sin as far as my football mad DS is concerned! But if yours isn't asking for the new version then probably pick another game to get for him instead.

RPG’s? I’m not sure what there is with 12 cert or below, but should’ve easily Google-able. Atelier ryze is.

Racing games? There’s a Gran Turismo on it - and a new one coming out, and a simulator thing called ACC

My 12yr old asked for 'the escapists 1 and 2' this year for his ps4 if that's any help
