What's your favourite sandwich?

Looking for inspiration :)

Feta, spinach and beetroot.

Turkey, stuffing, roasties and Mayo.

So many it's really hard to choose!!!

In first place - egg mayo and cold cooked bacon In seeded bread

Second place - ham and piccalilli in a white oven bottom muffin.

Third - toastie squidgy white bread with Cheshire cheese, seabrook cheese and onion crisps and salad cream

Aubergine, mozzarella and pesto

Tuna mayo, always 😋

Those part baked baguettes or petit pain on boxing day with leftover turkey and the stuffing I make which is basically pork sausage meat with caramelised red onion, bacon bits and mushrooms😋

Christmas ham with good butter

Roast chicken

Roast beef, baby spinach leaves, sliced tomatoes and mustard.

Hot- bacon, hash browns, onion rings in toast with ketchup

Cold- tiger baguette, salami, prosciutto, garlic and herb Boursin, heavily buttered with salted butter

Ham, cheese, coleslaw and salad on wholegrain

Tuna with sweetcorn and diced red pepper with mayo on brown.

Cream cheese and cucumber on white.

Prawns and thousand island dressing with lettuce on wholegrain.

Cottage cheese mixed with sweetcorn and dijon mustard on wholegrain - hot and cold at the same time. Mmmm....

And a festive turkey, cranberry, stuffing sandwich, preferably warm and preferably using leftover bread sauce in place of mayo or butter.

Generally I really don't like sandwiches but I could eat a cold beef sandwich right now. No butter though.

Hot Smoked Salmon with baby spinach on wholemeal/seeded bread spread with lemon mayonnaise.

Tuna Mayo & green salad baguette.

Tinned red salmon mixed with vinegar + green salad on wholemeal bread/roll.

Fresh baguette, crunchy lettice, juicy prawn, Marie rose sauce, black pepper & squeeze of lemon.

Meat and potato pie, white bread, proper butter.

Or: chicken and sweetcorn, bit of mayonnaise on malted bread.

DH - banana and Branston pickle

crusty ciabatta with parma ham, avocado, rocket and tomatoes

Favourite traditional sandwich is egg and cress on granary or cheese and onion toastie

Salted butter
Mustard
Ham
Chips

Salt n vinegar crisps with cheese and salad cream.

If I’m rich it’s prawns or Crayfish if I’m poor egg mayonnaise.

At the moment it's loads of crunchy iceberg lettuce, salad cream and seasalt, sounds boring but I really like it. Though it'll probably be something else next week.

Got to be cooked, diced chicken & sweetcorn mixed with mayo and a sprinkle of salt on thick whole meal bread 😋

My pregnancy craving was tuna Mayo and salt and vinegar crisp butties

I only have it a couple of times a year but luckily for me it's not long until I have the first one for nearly a year. It will have in it:

A big slice of turkey breast, leftover from Christmas Day roast,
A big slice of ham, leftover from the joint cooked on Christmas Eve,
A couple of slices of Brie or Camembert
Homemade cranberry sauce.
Plenty of butter on the bread

Peanut butter! Crunchy 🥜

Bacon, Brie, and caramelised onion chutney. Put the Brie on the bacon under the grill for the last minute so it goes all melty.
