What's your favourite sandwich?

Looking for inspiration :)

Chicken,stuffing and black current jam in a toasted sandwich.

‘Nice’ bread roll (ciabatta or similar), slathered with mayo, filled with tuna, mozzarella and tomato and then toasted. You can add sliced boiled egg for extra indulgence.

Pastrami, Swiss cheese, rocket, little bit mustard and sliced gherkin

Cheese (cheddar) and pickle! Both ingredients are hard to find here though so it's a rare treat.

Club - chicken, lettuce, bacon.
BLT
Prawn cocktail
Chicken salad

Tuna, mayo and sweetcorn and some grated cheddar on wholemeal bread.
Or a good old bacon butty and tomato sauce on thick white bread 😁

Egg and cress mayonnaise with black pepper on white bread. No contest.

Cheese and coleslaw or a bacon cob with ketchup

I have simple tastes

Chicken salad with salt and vinegar crisps in the sandwich too!

This month it's turkey, brie, stuffing & cranberry on Morrisons crusty sandwich baguettes

Also: Cream cheese, crispy bacon & good coleslaw on a sliced bloomer or wholemeal

Ham, cheese, Branston & mayo on granary

Salami on really fresh baguette, no butter

Egg mayo, smear of dijon mustard, rocket and thick ham on brown barm or white baguette

Pret's Chicken Caesar.

Prawn cocktail (NOT prawn mayo). I also love crab but rarely have it, it's usually a holiday treat.

Cheddar cheese with mayonnaise and lots of iceberg lettuce.

BLT slightly toasted bread tomato, bacon ( or fake bacon) lettuce mayonnaise

Small tin of Tuna (in oil), finely chopped onions, celery, green pepper or pimento, some chilli, possibly some minced pickle, mixed with mayonnaise- ‘devilled’. This can also be done with leftover minced lamb, beef, chicken, or hard-boiled eggs.

Cream cheese with crisps.

Brie and cranberry sauce
Emmental and thinly sliced apple
Egg mayo with cress and spring onions and a few crushed cheese 'n onion crisps

Cheese, beetroot and crushed crisps.

My mum makes a cheese and onion filling from white onions and Lancashire cheese put through the blender: amazing.

a crisp sandwich or butty as we call them round here. can't beat a crisp butty!

Tiger baguette. Gravy. Sliced roast beef heated in said gravy in a pan. Delicious salted butter. Add gravy soaked meat.

Mature cheddar, cucumber, salad cream and cheese and onion crisps.

Peanut butter and cheese.

Cheese and mango chutney.

Brie and grape or Brie and cranberry sauce or Brie and bacon. GIVE ME THE BRIE.....

Basically life = cheese

I have a few...

Wensleydale and carrot chutney with abit of salad {like the m&s one}

A simple prawn mayo on brown bread

Mature chedder, red onion, pickle, lettuce and tomato on a crusty baguette

Impossible to pick just one as I love sandwiches but I love BLT or tuna mayo with salad.

Camembert (or any cheese really) in a crusty baguette

Fish fingers with saucy sauce or grated cheese.

I love a BLT with squidgy white bread. Also ham and cheese and onion crisps, also on white bread with plenty of butter.

Ooh and bacon, brie, rocket, and mango chutney on a baguette and chicken, avocado and mayo.
