So, on 30th Nov i ordered from Superdrug, mix of everyday toiletries and a few xmas presents…. Order did not arrive, apparently lost. replacement sent…. Did not arrive, apparently damaged so could not be delivered, another replacement sent… finally arrived! Second order made 1st Dec lesser value but couple of stocking fillers included, order did not arrive, apparently lost. Replacement sent, did not arrive, apparently damaged so could not be delivered, offer of another replacement but a number of items now out of stock so opted for refund. Every step of this i have had to chase to find out what was going on, no communication from superdrug or Hermes. What a pain its been and honestly how much is this costing somebody for all these replacements / damaged goods thoroughly fed up with them and Superdrug have lost a customer until they sort out their courier.

This exact situation has happened to me, I emailed hermes and they said fuck all they can do about it and I've to contact superdrug. So i emailed them 5 days ago n no response 🤦‍♀️

Get on their live chat and they will offer replacement or refund, the e mail and facebook message never worked for me either. Like you Hermes washed their hands of it . One parcel i could forgive but 4 !!!

They've been driving me mad lately as well. 3 deliveries recently, not one came on the day they said. At one point it was, say, 2pm on the 8th and they were still insisting they'd deliver between 3 and 5 on the 7th. Couldn't understand why I was asking for an updated arrival! They aren't quite Yodel bad but my heart does sink a little when I see Hermes as the chosen courier.

Hermes are the absolute pits. If I get a delivery notification from them now I try and get it delivered to one of those safe lock boxes - they have them at my local Tesco. That at least prevents them doing their “we tried to deliver your parcel but you weren’t in” bullshit.

Ugh I had issues with them last week. Parcel not updated on tracking for over a week. Digital live chat says it’ll raise an incident. No response for days. Can’t do anything else on live chat as incident already raised. No phone numbers or anything to be found. Eventually got an email back saying “we care about your package and it will be delivered to you” and basically nothing else. No indications on timescales or anything useful! Thankfully store refunded my order without question , must come up a lot!

Our Hermes driver is brilliant, but getting the parcel to him is a nightmare!

My heart also sinks when I see it will be delivered by Hermes - not just because of the poor deliver but the drivers can be aggressive. I've had a couple get really stroppy with me because I asked them to deliver to my door not leave the parcel outside in the road. One said he was too scared of dogs to do that and when I explained that we only have a nervous cat and a hamster he told me to fuck off!

All online retailers should be made to display who they use for deliveries. I’d make a point of not shopping with anyone that use Hermes. They suck
