How to send documents without a scanner

Need to send some paperwork but am housebound as dd has covid. Is there any app that will send documents from my phone like a scanner ( and free!)

Yes. I use DocScan on Android.

Could you not take a photo and use WhatsApp?

I've taken a photo and attached a JPG to an email or form before now, it's been accepted.

What phone do you have? If you have an iPhone then the notes app on your phone will let you create a scanned document.

Adobe Scan will do it well. It's an app you can get on iphone.
It isn't free though, it's about a fiver I think.
I bought it at the start of the first lockdown and have used it loads.

If you have an iphone you can scan documents in your 'Notes' app and then forward them either via a text, Whatsapp, email, whatever.

Take a photo and crop the documents

Here's how to do it on notes. Open a new note and click the camera icon.

Do you have an IPhone? If you do, then I’ll f you go into the ‘notes’ app, click on the little camera icon, you can select the scan option.

Do it on your notes app if you have an iPhone.

If OP needs it to be in .pdf mode, a photo won't do.
I'm wrong on the name of mine - it's Cam Scanner and you don't need to pay for it.

This one is the best I used to use Tiny scanner and Cam Scanner but both were rubbish cf this.
