Lunch/bento box with lidded compartments

DD hates it when the juices of one food in one compartment spill over another compartment, so I am looking for a bento style lunchbox where the individual inside compartments have a lid. Any ideas?

How old is DD? We had great success with the Yumboxes but they're small and would only really be suitable for nursery / lower primary age.

She's 14 @ffscovid Smile

Thanks @Fivemoreminutes1 -that looks interesting but I feel I'd rather have individual lids for the different compartments...

I haven't seen a lunchbox with separate lidded compartments, but what about some sort of lunch bag with the lunch in separate lidded tubs?

I am like your daughter :)

I have an adult version of one like this - they have lots of colours/designs!

Have a look in TKMaxx, they usually have lots of lunch boxes. I got mine there, though I can’t for the life of me remember the make!

Slacktacular · 19/12/2021 21:06

Definitely Yumbox. They do bigger ones for teens and adults. I’ve got them for all my kids and they are so well made and don’t leak between compartments even if I put in things like yoghurt/hummus. Worth every penny. Only gripe is they’re not the easiest to clean and you can’t put them in the dishwasher

MilduraS · 19/12/2021 21:07

Would she consider a stacked lunchbox like a tiffin? Or how about a thermos lunch bag with small individual pots inside?

toomuchturmericinwatermelon · 20/12/2021 07:35

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. The one that isn't dishwasher safe is a total no no. I know that it will be relegated to the cupboard after the first use. @DesperateDogDog yours is the most suitable, if only it was plain. Even though DD actually likes Mario, I think she prefers to keep that to herself Smile.

Mine is a sestemia bento box. It has lids. £8 most places.

I have a Yumbox for DS and put it in the dishwasher, it's always been fine - whoops!!
