My 5 year old DD has just woke up with a bad tummy and puked 🤢 no doubt that is all of us taking it in turns to be ill now and being bad over Christmas ffs 😭😭

Anyone else up with a poorly child?

No but you have my sympathy Sad

We had this recently! We all went down with it, one after another. Felt absolutely dreadful, can't remember having such a bad vomiting bug for a long time. Five days of laundry, bleaching, cleaning everything, duvets needing to be washed free of puke as the toddler managed to puke everywhere, got behind on work, dd missed her Christmas jumper day and lunch at school. Awful.

Postpone Christmas and prepare for misery.

We have touch wood never all had the same bug, family of 5 and all kids are primary / nursery age.

I've caught my worst ever off of my (now) 9yo, who was only sick himself once, but no-one else got it despite me being very ill.

My now 6yo has had two tummy bugs since September and no-one else caught it.

My 3yo had a week off in October with a different tummy bug and no-one caught it.

It's certainly worth having a contingency plan incase you do all go down with it, but it's not a given.

Hope so @Crunchymum, she was only sick once so I'm hoping it was a case of over eating rather than a bug! Watching and waiting...
