Kitchen cabinets wrapped.

Has anyone had this done?
I like the layout of the kitchen but it's looking tired. I cant just replace the doors because I have panels that go to the ceiling and a custom fitted boiler cupboard that is not a standard specification.

I'm looking to move in couole if years so a wrap or possibly spray seems the best option.

Can anyone tell me how theres came out if you've had it done.
Thanks.

I had my kitchen wrapped earlier this year and we are so pleased with it. The original finish on the doors had come loose but the units were solid. It was nice to have a change of colour too.

@TeenMinusTests it's basically a coloured film that you stick on to your cabinets so you don't have to paint them

It cost around £1100 and I also had this cupboard wrapped to match. I didn’t have the worktops done they were ok. There was a long wait as he is so busy but so worth it.

Hi,

I replaced my mums kitchen using an online supplier who delivered the doors complete with hinge holes bored out so it was only V a matter of unclipping the old doors, removing hinges, screwing hinges onto new doors and clipping back on. Very straight forward and saved a lot of mess and expense.

I tried painting my own doors but let’s just say it didn’t go to plan!

I used a company called onlinekitchendoors.com. They have a great range with lots of colours to choose from. I had a few sample doors sent out first into we finally settled on our design and colour.

I needed a little help with the hinges but they were more than helpful and walked me through the process…thankfully!

If you need any other information on what I done I will try to help as best as possible.

Thanks

We decided to get ours sprayed instead of wrapped.

Thank you to everyone that replied. Some thought needed. I like the look of the photos posted by people. They look fabulous.
I like the look of spraying.
Can any one recommend any companies in the North West, specifically Lancashire?

My sister just had her kitchen sprayed. The guy used to be a vehicle sprayer in a garage. He did a fantastic job and also sprayed her fridge freezer. Everything looks brand new.

If you look at the first picture, you can see the company tag from Facebook, Uniquefix, I am also based in the north west and in Lancashire.

Hey! I was in a very similar situation—not ready to commit to a full kitchen renovation, but definitely needed a refresh. Wrapping turned out to be a game-changer for me. Like you, I had tall panels and custom units, and replacing doors wasn’t a practical option either.
I chose vinyl wrap over spraying because it’s less messy, quicker to install, and surprisingly durable if done properly. Plus, it gave my kitchen a totally modern look without breaking the bank.
If you’re curious how it turns out, check out these before and after wrapped kitchen cabinets—they really helped me visualize the transformation before committing.
Hope this helps and good luck with the kitchen update!
