So this is a parking thread, but not a parking thread...
TL:DR - the parking issue is more of a whinge, it's more to ask if anyone knows how to find the owners of a property.
Basically the house next door to mine is used as some sort of contractor temporary accommodation (bit like air bnb, but not listed there, I have checked) when they're working in the area for long periods of time.
I live in a row of terraced houses, with assigned parking spaces in front, we have one as we're 2 bed, next door has 2 as they're a 3 bed, quite useful for them having multiple vehicles, usually vans. (I'm sure dear readers, you know where this is going)
Every single time the new contractors move in, we have parking issues, they use our space, they park badly opposite the bays, meaning parking is really difficult. Most of the time a knock on the door and it's sorted, however for the past 3 weeks the group of people staying there has changed every weekend, they're all using the same 4 rental vans (regs are the same), with a note on the dash "delivery drive, I'll be back in 5 minutes" I've knocked on the door with every contractor, asking them to move the vans as I own my parking space (pay estate management fees for use of or whatever, it's in my deeds) polite chat, van gets moved, life continues.
This past few weeks when I've knocked, they ignore me, so I called the vehicle rental company to complain and ask them to pass the message on. Nothing changed, so I carried on knocking, at one point I knocked and rang the bell for 5 solid minutes, to be met by a window being thrown open and being told "I don't speak English, my collegue will be back in an hour, go away, come back then" so I did, he was lovely, very apologetic, vans moved, all good. And for that week we were fine... they've had a change over today, and once again my parking space has a van in it, they aren't using one of theirs, so I've parked in their space. So its a none issue tonight.
BUT it's happening so frequently now, I want to know if the owners of the property or the letting agents (if that's what they are) are telling their tenants about the parking spaces, so I want to contact them, obviously I know I can do a request online, but, I want to know if I can find out for free first.
Anyone know please?
Thanks for reading btw, that was long, feel better for moaning about it though.
