Situation is:
- I had a tooth extracted many moons ago
- In September this year, the dentist said the remaining root was infected so he removed it
- it was a very difficult extraction and I ended up getting dry socket
Since then, it's been fine but now I am in a fair bit of pain from what feels like that area.
My question is - if there's no tooth and no root, what is infected and what hurts?
