How quiet is London at the moment?

I'm heading down to London with DS next week for a couple of days to do various Christmassy/Touristy things and obviously Winter Wonderland! We can't wait 😁

But how quiet will it be? Has there been a noticeable difference on the Tube? On the main streets? In the cafes/restaurants? Or is the news scaremongering us up North? 😉

In Chat? I can't see anything and MN search is crap...

Not in the least bit quiet! We could barely move through covent garden earlier in the week.

DH and I both work in central London, in touristy areas. Earlier in the week seemed normal but yesterday seemed noticeably quieter to both of us. Not dead at all, but not heaving like normally.

If the numbers in London keep skyrocketing I think next week will be a bit quiet plus it looks like lots of places are having to close due to lack of staff.
