What has happened to my homemade mincemeat??

Made mincemeat last weekend. We want to use it today or tomorrow... I opened it and it looked like this...

Has it gone off? Is the white stuff the suet? It doesn't look... Very appealing 🤣

It should be fine I think. Homemade is always better than bought! It looks like the fat has solidified. Give it a good mix before you spoon it into the mince pies.

Just be the butter that’s gone solid

It's just fat that's solidified, it's harmless (except maybe to your arteries ) Give it a good stir and it'll be fine. It'll taste great.
