Kids been ill for more than a week?

Viral. Negative pcr test. Not much I can do and all I want to do is cry. She's been off a week off school (DD4). The moment she's getting better she gets worse again. I'm thinking she'll be off school Monday, Tuesday too. She's had diarrhoea and vomiting too. She's never been this poorly before.

Sending hugs 💐 it's horrible when your DC are ill and so frustrating when it's up and down, I can totally sympathize. One of my DC was similar. I hope she gets better soon 💝

There seem to be a lot of lingering viruses around at the moment. My two had a cold for about 2 weeks, one is still coughing. They past it on to me, I had the cold for about 10 days which has now turned into an ear infection and I feel dreadful. Hope your DD feels better for Xmas.

Sorry you're going through this hope they feel better soon. DC went through a phase of having something every other week, it was horrific. But they do come out the other side! Hang in there.

I feel you DS has been sick all week negative PCR test. He also had diarrhea for a few days but no vomiting. Today he's picked up and is running around. his temp is normal now but the cough sounds nasty.

Thanks everyone. I got her some antibiotics after 3 appointments and doctors saying it's viral it sounds viral! But I knew it was something more. Antibiotics got rid of the cough after 3 doses. I wish they had given it earlier so she wouldn't have missed school!
