Looking for tips.
Had a very stressful week at work relocating a large service and worked double my normal full time hours ( this is not part of my normal role)

I feel physically and mentally exhausted. Poor sleep last night and a big wave of sadness that had me crying like someone had stolen my dog this morning Hmm

How do you destress/decompress and recover from intense stress?

I need to be fighting fit for 6am Monday!

Get into nature, walk around trees or a lake and take in and notice your surroundings.

Hasn't got to be a mad hike, a gentle stroll will be fine.

Walking in nature as pp said.
Switch off from social media for a bit.
Nice pamper and long bath.
Yoga class and/or meditation.
Reading and journaling.
A coffee and cake.
Just listen to your body and do whatever it needs to recuperate.

Fresh air, ideally with non of my family with me, headphones in, podcast/music on, go for an hours walk. Doesn’t have to be anywhere pretty but that’s a bonus.

I also like the Mindful meditations on Spotify, there’s lots to choose from (you’d need a Spotify premium account). I really like the ‘30 minute body scan for beginners’

Thankyou all Flowers
I’ve just had a long walk with Ddog and feel a bit better.
Going to watch a cheesy film and rest I think.

@MonkeyPuddle you’ve reminded me I got headspace free through work so will give that a go too.
