Help! my 7 day fast track passport is two days late and i fly out Wednesday.

What do I do now? Has this happened to anyone else.

I originally lost my out of date passport so could only apply for the seven day fast track as you need your old passport to apply to the same day passport.

I am so stressed, I am in work Monday and Tuesday with a lot of clients who i managed to squeezed in due to me being away over xmas - so cancelling them so i can travel to the passport office to try and get an emergency passport is going to a nightmare.

Any one with any experience of this?

You should contact the passport office they're the only people who can sort it really

There are so many postage delays at the moment - I've been sending parcels with work that have taken 3-4 days longer than they should do because of how busy the postal system is.

You have another two working days for it to arrive so I think you just have to cross your fingers and hope for the best. Have you checked it's not been delivered to a neighbour or anything - can you track it online for example?

Hi Iced coffee, it should have been here on wednesday. I received a text message on Monday saying i should receive it ion the next few days. So its actually three days late today

Neighbours are very good and would have bobbed it round but i will check.

No tracking number even though i paid for special delivery

The passport office usually send out the passports with TNT - have they not giving you any tracking reference?

Trouble is I believe if they've sent it out and it's lost or delayed in the post I don't think they'll just hand over another one. I could be wrong but brace yourself for disappointment OP.

Oh god that's awful. Pray pray pray it turns up today.

Sorry I'm probably wrong they probably will give you an emergency I was talking half asleep. Didn't mean to scare you. I hope you get it sorted.
