Never usually shop in M&S food so dont know whats worth buying, any recomendations for nice treaty foods we can get for over the festive season?

Their very berry cheesecake is fab.
Also their coffee cake and victoria sandwich.
They currently have a selection of mini pies, which look nice.
Their 8 pounds meal for two main, lasagne, is lush.
The mini mac n cheese bites are quite nice.
The 8 big fish fingers are good.
I like their chicken fettucini.
Any of the starter deli snacks - peri chicken, halloumi, mini quiche etc are always nice.

Charlotte baby potato salad
Butter chicken ready meal
Cartons of chicken, mushroom & rice soup
Chicken tenders 3 for £10
Salt & vinegar / sour cream crisps (the bag has different shapes of crisps)
Prosecco (the one that currently has 1/3 off is my fave)
A bag of Percy pigs
Belgian cocoa dusted chocolate truffles (not the cognac ones - they are nice but the plain are better)
Tuscan penne pasta ready meal
Carbonara ready meal
Their seeded bread is quite nice
Garlic flatbreads
Pizza deal (2 pizzas & 2 sides) for £10
Boxes of cookies / shortbread / biscuits - around £4?
Chocolate squirty cream
Iced mince pies

I don’t like any of their Gastro range - far too rich for me

The 4 for 3 party food. The mini steak pies, mini beef wellingtons, pigs in blankets and whatever else takes your fancy. I also like the 3 for £7 deli items.
The veggie Percy Pigs. I'm not a vegetarian but I think they taste better than the other ones. Less sticky or something.
The blue box of their chocolate biscuits.
The parmentier potatoes from the freezer.

The specific Christmas food things that I have ordered had to be ordered by a certain date. I don’t know if any of these things will be in the shops on the run up to Christmas. My favourite thing to buy in there at any time of the year is the honeyed cashew nuts, if you are a nut person you could buy £100 worth of these and not be disappointed 😂

Oops! Just reread & you specifically asked for Christmassy food ☺️

Closer to the 25th they will start to stock all the usual food you would eat on Christmas Day. So you could buy those silver foil trays with roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, pigs in blankets etc.

They also have some nice pate’s in store already & I have bought their jars of cranberry sauce & caramelised onions (haven’t tried them yet).

Their party food is normally nice. Oh, and they also normally sell fancy jam - I liked their strawberry jam & champagne but couldn’t find any this year. They did have fancy marmalade though.

Maybe you would like the light up bottles of gin liqueur? Or their own version of Baileys?
