How do I fix the arm of my sofa?

I ate dinner in the sitting room this evening and put my bowl on the arm of my velvet sofa. I now have a round bowl shape mark on the arm. How do I make it go away? I have posted a pic to show you. Thanks.

I've never heard of such a thing and I have had this sofa for about 15 years!

I have a nail brush that looks a bit like that. I might give that a go.
