Techy people! Search history visible across devices?

Please help, this is driving me mad.

My DD just announced that my phone search history appears on her iPad, which is set up as a kids account with mine as the family admin and has been for some time (cringe).

I’m panicking at what she may have seen already (nothing rude!!) as I’ve been buying Christmas surprises which have no doubt been ruined Sad and googling medical conditions etc.

I cannot for the life of me find a way to stop this happening. I can’t even imagine why on earth a device set up as a child’s would indeed be able to access that kind of thing from an adult account.

Can anyone walk me through the steps to turn it off please.

TIA

Following as this happens with us too. Something to do with me being logged into Google on both /all devices?

We get this with the Chrome book DS1 uses. He just uses it as a guest, rather than signing in.

Pansy - It’d be a faff to delete my history and cache every time I made a Google search. There must be a setting somewhere.

I’ve switched all the buttons relating to sharing safari, iCloud etc but somehow it’s still happening. I’m even certain I’ve done all of this before and things have switched back of it’s own accord - like blasted Facebook setting do!
