Money gone into account

I had £10.90 in my current account this morning, just gone on my banking app to move some money round and I’ve now got £30.70 in there.

There are no transactions showing for a refund or for money having been transferred into my account. Everything I’ve bought has gone out, I’ve checked emails to see if something I’ve forgotten has been refunded to me but there isn’t anything for that amount. I’ve received everything I’ve ordered over the last few weeks.

Where could this have come from? I can’t work out how it’s appeared in my account.

It will have been a pending transaction which has popped back in (therefore nothing would show).

Yes that's almost certainly it if you can't see an actual payment into the account.

Maybe soemthing was pending twice by mistake and pinged back.

Have you used pay at pump recently? Some places are authorising more than you use. Say £100 so that would be pending but you only spend £40 do the £60 appears back. Not accurate figures but you get the idea
