Anyone about to travel abroad/pre PCR?

I'm travelling to Thailand in Sunday.
I'm not interested in a "you'll be bonkers to travel" kind of comment, I'm actually just looking for anyone else going through the same stress/anx.

This holiday has been rebooked since the sandbox scheme came in place.

Wow it's utterly nerve wracking. PCR is booked at 7am, result in 3hrs. Wow it's not worth the stress.

Flying out Monday to NZ (I hope) with kids. I just can’t relax, feeling very stressed! Dh is in the pub now….adding to my omicron worries

I travel to Spain on Sunday although I don’t need a test. But I am getting a PCR coming back so I’m just really hoping I don’t catch anything whilst there.

Fingers crossed for you!

Oh and I’ve been on close to 50 flights since the pandemic started and it never gets less nerves wracking Grin it’s always the same anxiety because you just want to go!

Omg really Eileen?
I work in a private hospital and I've been so cautious my hands are sore from washing so much.

Oh @stclair who are you flying with? And which stop over, we are dubai.

I need to travel for work, I haven’t gone off on 50 holidays, don’t worry.

What I meant is that even if you’ve gone abroad plenty of times, it’s all so uncertain it doesn’t get much easier, you’re always a bit apprehensive until you’re actually on the plane - or back home.

It's so draining worrying though..

We have learnt our lesson. No traveling abroad after this for a while.

I miss the old holiday abroad days without this worry. Wow the build up was amazing.
