Well not really but...

After living abroad I am starting from scratch with the decorations.

If you were starting over, what would you buy...

I do like a painted glass bauble, but wooden animals seem nice.

Don't like tinsel...but lights are a must..

Tasteful and Co ordinated?

Or gloriously garish?

If you had nothing, what would you do?

I would get a set of basic baubles then a few bits you like, adding to it each year. No tinsel here just lights and beads

I have quite a lot of wooden decorations, also fabric, others are bought on holiday

Pick a tree just so you know how many lights and decorations you need, then choose colours.
I have a red and gold tree with some glass/wooden decorations and also a tree that's got silver and purple baubles.
