Tips for looking after toddler for the day when feeling really unwell!

I'm a SAHP to a 17 month old lovely boy. I'm not well today as well as up all night and feeling v ropey. It's the first time I've been ill whilst caring for him. Trying to just suck it up obviously, but need to take it easy a bit. Just about got through this morning but stuck for ideas of what to do with my LO this afternoon after his nap. All I want to do is get under a duvet with a hot water bottle!

Does anyone have any tips for looking after / entertaining a toddler when you're feeling ill?

100% TV.

Yes to tv. I also sometimes used to put lots of socks etc in a washing basket and she'd amuse herself for ages pulling them in and out. Also, pasta/water/whatever else you think is safe and a couple of saucepans, plastic bowl, spoons etc kept mine happy for ages so I could watch her but also rest while she played if I wasn't feeling well.

Definitely would be TV for me, but if you know he can't stay focussed on TV for longer than an hour (for example) I would maybe keep it up my sleeve for later and try and survive the early afternoon without it.

Khan Academy Kids. Great app - keeps ours happy for ages but it's guilt-free, being educational and all. There's loads of literacy and numeracy stuff on there and it's free too.
