Covid Booster Jab During 3rd trimester

Hi all,

I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and I was apprehensive of taking the covid jabs (dose 1 & 2) during pregnancy but in the end I decided to have them and just hope for the best pregnancy wise. I had both very early in the pregnancy, something like week 3 and week 12.

I was planning on taking my booster jab after birth because the advice was to wait 6 months after taking the 2nd dose....which was close to my due date anyway, so I though I'd just take it after giving birth, rather than risk injecting stuff into my body especially when I'm so close to the end. But now with the new variant they're urging everyone to take it asap and the guidance has now changed to "you can take your booster 2 months after you've had your 2nd dose".

I'm leaning towards taking it, as my midwife said the NHS are encouraging pregnant women to take it, and also because the booster is made up of the same substances as the 1st and 2nd jabs, which gives me a little bit of reassurance.

I just wanted to ask if there are any other pregnant ladies who have had their booster in the 3rd trimester AND with a less than 6 month gap since their 2nd jab? Just hearing from you would give me that extra bit of support I guess :)
