Weird and wonderful board games

I’d like to get a gift for a friend who I haven’t known too long, she’s previously mentioned her and her husband enjoying playing all kind of weird and wonderful board games. Any suggestions for something I could look at? They are mid thirties if that makes a difference!

I echo the poster above and I don't mean this unkindly but if they are proper board game ppl (it's a big thing now), and you aren't, chances are you may struggle to find them a board game they will enjoy as tastes can be quite specific. If it helps you can try the boardgamegeek website which provides ratings for modern board games (which is think is what is meant by the term "weird" aka not monopoly, Scrabble and the mainstream family games). Good board games are also quite expensive these days so how much are you wanting to spend (your average modern board game costs between £25-£45)? Hope you find something suitable Smile
