DH has kindly gifted me his cold germs (both negative PCR tests). I feel like crap. Apart from copious amounts of cold drugs, what's your go to cure?

It's a bit of a pain but a homemade hot and sour soup made with chicken stock and extra chilli always clears a bunged up head and chest for me

Day nurse (not other brands, they really don't work)
A berry smoothie with whatever fruit I have, redbush tea (for the vit c and antioxidants), loads of fresh or stem syrup ginger, and nutmeg/cinammon and honey, lemon juice
Garlic (loads!) scrambled eggs

Lots of fluids! Nothing cold though- tepid water or warm drinks go down easier so you are more likely to drink them. Also staying away from dairy as it just adds to the mucus

Hot water with honey and lemon. In the evenings I also add a wee nip of whisky.

Good Manuka honey.

We had awful colds a few weeks ago and DH made us a non alcoholic mulled wine drink with cranberry juice and oranges and lots of spices. Really perked me up and full of vitamin c to help recovery.

Also a hot water bottle, just makes me feel cosier and happier when I have a cold.

Night nurse every time

Vicks vapour run on the soles of your feet under socks while sleeping. This is great for a cough but I find it also helps to dry up a cold.

Take vitamin D through the winter months.
Take 15 mg of zinc regularly (RDA), and 50 mg when you feel a cold coming on, or exposed to a cold.
Elderberry, either buy a bottle of Sambucol, or make elderberry liqueur in the autumn.
Garlic on toast... crush a clove of garlic, smoosh into some butter and spread on toast.
Homemade chicken and vegetable soup with all the spices... turmeric, fresh ginger, garlic, chilli.
Eating citrus fruits and kiwis.
Generally keep healthy - good sleep, reduce stress, moderate exercise, fresh air, unprocessed food diet, minimal sugar/alcohol.
