Missing parcel - anything I can do?

I know this is boring.

I ordered something from eBay, used the company before. Notified it was delivered Friday morning. Royal Mail tracking shows it was.

Except I have a camera which shows no one came near the house for hours Friday morning and I asked my postie today, who I’ve known years and trust completely and he said he’s never been here that early and he didn’t bring it.

EBay seller says check Royal Mail. Royal Mail says it’s here. It’s not.

Is there anything I can do? So frustrated.

The seller needs to look into it from their end

They’ve just said tracking shows it’s here so nothing they can do.

Thank you for replying, it’s so dull.

The onus is on them to prove it was delivered, what evidence do they claim to have? Should be a photograph or signature.

Try your sorting office. I've had tracking saying they've delivered but haven't, no card left etc, I've then gone to the sorting office and it was there. I think there are lots of temps at this time of year who maybe get confused using the epod equipment.

Report the non delivery via ebay. The delivery contract is between the seller and RM so all you can do is hand over evidence to demonstrate its not been delivered and the seller will have to make a claim with RM.

I’ve just checked it all again and it shows it was scanned on the grassy area near my home but not at it. No photo, card or signature.

I thought the time they gave was early as my postie said they’re only ever leaving the sorting office by then. It’s usually lunch time stuff arrives round here and this was supposed to be half 9.

It’s miles away Rina, but good idea. Do you just take ID and ask if they’ve got anything for you?

I would book a Royal Mail redelivery using the date it was apparently delivered, if it’s at the sorting office then they will bring it to you and save you the trip
