If you're a professional cleaner, how much is about things looking clean

and how much us about then actually being clean?

For example, when I need to spruce up the bathroom quickly I'll give everything a quick wipe with the towels, whereas a real clean would involve detergent etc. Unless you know, you wouldn't know it hadn't been done properly.

Every now and then I sanitise door handles, in-between I give them a quick rub with my sleeve to get rid of finger marks.

If you clean for a living, how much of it is real cleaning and how much short cuts?

It really doesn't take that much longer to spray and wipe with a cloth than rub over with a towel. I always feel things are cleanest when scrubbed down properly with hot soapy water but I only get indulge in that at home or when doing a deep clean as it is time consuming.
