Green Gathering Festival, or similar

Considering taking my DD, who will be 6, to Green Gathering next year. If it happens.
Has anyone been, and would you recommend it? I am lefty, veggie, like varied music, try to be environmentally conscious but I'm worried it will be a bit worthy, preachy and not fun.
Or can anyone recommend a better smallish one please?
Bearded Theory doesn't work dates wise as school hasn't finished, Green Man sold out and Starry Skies isn't on. I'm not so bothered about a big line up as chances are I won't get to see the headliners.

Between the Trees?

Beautiful Days is fantastic for kids. Absolutely lovely festival.

Never heard of Between the Trees @tatyr but it looks really good. Trying to work out if you can go on the beach. I like the noise noise at night policy!

I had ruled Beautiful days out as being too far away but actually there's not that much in it so will reconsider, thanks.

Bearded theory have an ofsted school onsite for the thurs/Fri. You can register you children and they won't miss school attendance.

Shambala?

Shambala only has tickets for coach travellers left and might be a wimp but don't fancy that. Otherwise looks good.

Might ask teacher about Bearded Theory but don't think it will be a quick answer. Think school have attendance and punctuality issues and wouldn't be keen.
