Thought about a namechange to Justpissedmyselfagain but then couldn't be bothered.
Long story short - was told two years ago I was eligible for an operation (mesh type thing) after a bladder test but I was moving back to the UK so had to put it on hold (plus had heard bad things about meshes).
I do Kegels and live with it tbh. I think it was a result of three births, two with ventouse but such is life.
CUT TO NOW:
Had a negative PCR last week. Cannot stop coughing. Even if I have emptied my bladder, still leaking every time I cough. Soaked through a pad at work. Am at work tomorrow : front-facing with kids. You can imagine if they noticed a wet patch.
Feel unhygienic, grim, pissed off (and pissed on) and like a mouse (they allegedly free urinate all the time).
Just here to vent really, fish for sympathy and ask if anyone else is in the same boat and what I can do practically about the situation.
Thanks in advance Flowers
(If I ever was on Strictly Glitterball would give new meaning to the phrase Pissy Gorka Wink)

You need to speak to a woman's health physio.
Depending on your local arrangements, you might need a referral from your GP initially.

Don't carry on as you are.

They won't come in time for tomorrow but for the future, modi bodi Maxi period pants will get you through.

Tomorrow I'd go with knickers, giant sanitary pad at front, then knickers again to hold in place.

Thanks. BrewCake Am feeling very sorry for myself. Fed up and back hurts from the strain of coughing. I will live obviously but had enough.

If it’s any consolation I have had that hideous coughing lurgy and was similar last week but it has passed fairly quickly

SequinsandStiIettos · 14/12/2021 17:20

Hope so Betty Am stuck between a rock and a hard place...Work know my PCR was negative but even though we are masked up, the coughing will be noticed; so will have to drink water. Cannot call in sick again as I am there to actually cover the Covid absence. But thank you. As I said, I am just having a pity party (no wine and cheese, socially distanced Grin Wink)

Pity party is ok, I feel you, I've been there. Good luck today, hope you've woken up with a much better cough Flowers
