Is there a museum or something that would be appropriate & appeal to my 6yr old & 3yr old DD’s that we can take them to possibly between Christmas & New year?

Natural History Museum and Science Museum are next to each other in Kensington and are the obvious choice.

Science museum is good for that age, I’d recommend booking the Wonderlab bit though

Absolutely there is! I blog about culture for families over at www.instagram.com/museummum/.

For those ages I would recommend
The Postal Museum - see www.instagram.com/reel/CTpKD6ZoQfu/?utm_medium=copy_link
London Transport Museum - see www.instagram.com/reel/CUsZj8koxwu/?utm_medium=copy_link
Science Museum - best bit is Wonderlab which is extra so make sure you book that. Your 3 year old might be a bit little for the slides there though.
Natural History Museum - can be busy but kids always love it
Horniman Museum
Museum of London Docklands
Alice at the V&A - tickets released at midday on a Tuesday for the same week - see www.instagram.com/p/CSOv0fxo4MH/?utm_medium=copy_link

Hope this helps!

The obvious ones as mentioned above but an absolute gem I aodre is the musuem of London.
It's also right near St Paul's cathedral and down past there is the foot bridge over the Thames, stroll up past tate modern, globe right up to the wheel play ground and Westminster m
