My friend has asked for a box of art / craft bits for her daughter's Christmas. What do your 2-3yrs kids use to get creative?

My little one loves glitter glue and stickers. We have had fun recently doing glitter art (where you peel off the background on pre made pictures and sprinkle glitter to make pictures)

Ds is 2.5 and loves paint sticks (as do I as they are much less faff than paint & brushes). We do a fair bit of junk modelling with packaging but he uses washi tape to stick it together, he loves washi tape.

Is she or her partner terrified of mess? Then it would be best to stick to clean crafting like stickers. There are sets from baker Ross that are just stick stuff. More creative - and messy - paints and a big stack of printer paper. A painting apron and wipe down table cloth - I never bothered with pots and just used tea plates but then I’m not too fussy.
I got the massive bottles of paint years ago from baker Ross and my 12 year old still managed to get some out of the bottle for a craft thing for school. Hobby craft, Baker Ross and wilko are all good for craft things - you can often link to interests.

Washable pens, chalk, huge quantities of stickers, card, those fat pencils for toddlers

Thank you for all these tips. Spent a very happy half hour on the Baker Ross website!
