2 week D&V bug in toddler

We are 2 weeks into terrible diarrhoea and occasional vomiting in our 2 year old. Have taken her to the dr who said nothings wrong but I am worried about the constant runny wet poo after eating and she's not drinking a great amount. Is this a normal amount of time for this to go on in a toddler. She's had a negative pcr.

My DS has just had something very similar. It went one for about 3 weeks (and he has subsequently picked up another vomiting bug this weekend, but fortunately that seems to have run its course in the standard 24-48hrs). Our GP took a stool sample at around the 2 week mark but nothing showed up so she said it was most likely just a viral thing and he was on the road to recovery by the time the results came back anyway. He had periods of being fine for a day or so then back to diarrhoea the next day, lost lots of weight and I was extremely worried about him. He did get over it, though.

I'd be inclined to go back to the doctor, though, and perhaps ask to see a different GP. At the very least I'd have thought they should take a stool sample to confirm it's nothing she might need antibiotics for etc.
