I dont want to faff around I have afew hours to kill before Strictly starts😃 its my only day off this week and I cleaned and cooked. I dont care if its a comedy or drama as long as it doesnt have a rubbish ending like everything Ive seen lately. I basically have most streaming serices plus normal tv. I dont even mind paying for a film. Thanks 😃

Girls on Now Tv. I can’t believe I’d never heard of it before. I absolutely adore Lena Durham and Adam Driver in it. I loved it from the first episode.

@Dash1863

The white lotus on sky Atlantic is very good . An easy watch .
That was good fun, I agree.

I'm enjoying The Wheel of Time at the moment

A580Hojas · 11/12/2021 16:54

Ozark. Gripping! grim but gripping.

iklboodolphrednosedpaindear · 11/12/2021 16:54

Chernobyl

follygirl · 11/12/2021 16:54

I loved:

Mare of Easttown
Big little lies (First season is the best)

As well as others mentioned.

The Fall

repottingthescabious · 11/12/2021 16:57

The Fall - Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson.

The only TV i ever watched where each episode i could not take my eyes off the screen.

Better in the evening .... later on your own. The suspense...

The Outlaws, Stephen merchant. 6 episodes. The first episode was a bit slow, then we were so hooked we watched the next 5 in a row. Really good.

slapmyarseandcallmemary · 11/12/2021 17:00

I've just started watching Clickbait on Netflix, it's good.

Second this - brilliant series!

I loved the Fall. I’ve seen a lot of these. Girls was fantastic. I watched And Just Like That this week
And im going to carryon with it hoping it will settle. I’m already watching Succession but I have to say I can go weeks without thinking about it not like others shows I loved like the Sopranos. Anyone know what that morning show is like with Jennifer Anniston?

Oh, The Fall is just amazing; almost like old skool Prime Suspect.

shivermetimbers77 · 11/12/2021 17:05

How about The Bridge (Broen) on Iplayer ? Danish version with subtitles. Loved it

JaninesEyePatch · 11/12/2021 17:06

There is an old series with Glenn Close and Rose Byrne called Damages. Think it used to be on Prime but not sure if it still is. Absolutely amazing from start to finish with so many twists and turns. It's a legal drama and I put off starting it for ages because I thought it would be boring but it's the complete opposite!

I'd also highly recommend
Ozark
The Handmaids Tale
House
American Horror Story (although v v gory)

@EachandEveryone The morning show is quite good actually. I didn't expect to like it or find it interesting but it surprised me.

DinosaurOnlySpaces · 11/12/2021 17:12

I didn't really enjoy the Morning Show - some interesting parts but overall it seemed unlikely. And the script could have been tighter - several rambling scenes.

I watched it all, I didn't give up. But honestly the last episode of series 2 was pants.

TSSDNCOP · 11/12/2021 17:13

Yep Ozark awesome from start to finish. Top tip, don't think you're going to like a character.

hygtt · 11/12/2021 17:14

i've not finished it tbf

TSSDNCOP · 11/12/2021 17:15

I'm getting tagged y Netflix to watch Unforgiven with Sandra Bullock.

Anotherhill · 11/12/2021 17:16

Clickbait

NameChangeinHaste · 11/12/2021 17:17

The Americans! Just discussing with DH today that I might rewatch yet again in the new year. Think I’ve rewatched about once every year!
