It's like an orange flake. Utterly amazing. Does anyone else out there love it too?!

Hahaha... I agree! You know you can get orange Twirls yeah? As amazing as you'd think.

Yes! But it's not as satisfying as breaking open a chocolate orange and having the flakey bit left in the middle Xmas Grin

Absolutely.

Knitter99 · 11/12/2021 14:20

I feel like it's got smaller over the years. Sometimes there's nothing left once you've eaten all the segments it's very disappointing.

Probably because Terry's chocolate oranges are evil. The texture sounds nice though.

Mamette · 11/12/2021 14:25

I’m not sure I’ve ever had the middle bit left over. Some segments have some middly bit attached and some don’t I find.

Oh you are not banging it properly to separate it.
APJ1 · 11/12/2021 14:47

It's the best bit!

cloudtree · 11/12/2021 14:48

I always go for it first

CustardGoodJamGoodMeatGood · 11/12/2021 14:49

It's the best bit, it has got smaller though. It used to be a decent sized chunk in the middle and now you're lucky if there's any left after it's flaked

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 11/12/2021 14:49

I save it til last. It's definitely the best bit of the whole orange.

Cookerhood · 11/12/2021 14:51

I used to love a chocolate orange but they aren't the same any more. Since they changed the recipe they give me heartburn :(

YuleHaveAWonderfulChristmas · 11/12/2021 14:52

Definitely the best part. Always snag it for myself!

Imaaa · 11/12/2021 14:53

Perfect timing - I've got one next to me right now. Thanks OP!

Roominmyhouse · 11/12/2021 14:53

Ahh I love the middle bit. I think I’ve already eaten an unacceptable amount of chocolate oranges this year and I definitely plan to eat more!

Mamette · 11/12/2021 15:02

@mugoftea456 ah I suspected as much

Deathraystare · 11/12/2021 15:04

It is the most disgusting thing ever invented! I hate chocolate and orange together ...unless it is a jaffa cake or matchmakers.....

MyOtherCarIsAPorsche · 11/12/2021 15:15

My chocolate orange covers 😬

xprincessxjanetx · 11/12/2021 15:24

100% the best part of the chocolate orange for me

JingleJingleAllTheWay · 11/12/2021 15:25

Popping candy chocolate orange. Yummm I agree, the middle bit is amazing.

Eeeeeps · 11/12/2021 15:25

It’s the best bit! We have to do rock, paper, scissors for it

Crinkle77 · 11/12/2021 15:29

Oh yes deffo!! I wish you could get a bag of the middle bits 😋

modgepodge · 11/12/2021 17:32

There’s no calories in it either. The cals on the packet are per segment, thus, the middle bit is magically calorie free.
