How do I do this with Alexa?

We have 4 Alexa Echo dots. Kitchen, bedroom, DS bedroom, DD bedroom., they see tree all associated with my Amazon account.

I have just upgraded my Amazon account to Family Plan so each device can play different stuff at the same time. But all that has happened is that all 4 can play the same mucus at the same time.

How do I make it so they can all play different music/radio etc at the same time? Do they all need to be associated with different Amazon accounts?

I just tried ours, 6 music played in one room and 5 live in another - at the same time. Both associated with the same account.

I think Alexa needs different profiles. I don’t know, I can’t work it out either and it’s on my to do list

No different profiles here. The only thing we did was to tell them which room they are in. I haven't even told them that we moved to France last month.

I had to unpair all the Echos in the Music settings on the app.

Have you grouped the devices OP?

I have 3 of them - i have 2 that are grouped - if i play music via the group, they play the same song on the kitchen and landing ones, otherwise they play different stuff on each
