Really sore throat on one side/ear ache and a horrible cough.. anyone else?

Has anyone else been suffering? I have no tonsils but my throat is killing me. I’m struggling to swallow, everytime I do it sends a pain into my ear. It hurts so much. It’s quite white on the side where it hurts. I feel majorly run down. Iv also had an horrific cough that I can’t get rid of😩

Sounds like what I have. Official diagnosis is a chest infection, I’m on antibiotics for it.

Get a covid test maybe?

I had a really chesty cough and ear pain for three weeks, like another poster mine was diagnosed as a chest infection (and middle ear infection) and after a week on strong antibiotics I feel a lot better. Assuming you've had a PCR to rule out covid I really recommend going to your gp if it doesn't clear up quickly.
