Would you still travel abroad this coming week?

I'm due to fly abroad to a European country, leaving Sunday and staying away for five days.

I'm all prepared, got my tests booked,all paperwork in order.

A bit worried getting stuck abroad.

I'd wanted to just go to Wales abut my partner really wanted to leave the UK and get some warmtlth and sun.

Would you still travel?

Yes - as long as you are prepared to take the risk you may get stuck.

But we are hoping to go abroad for 5 days on Boxing Day. Who knows when foreign travel may be forbidden again…

We cancelled for this weekend as have colleagues for next week (hospital doctors).

No because we can’t afford to isolate in an hotel if the rules suddenly changed.

I'd probably go but I wouldn't expect my employer to pay me if I couldn't get back for work.

I'm off work now till 4th Jan. If I had to come straight back to wotk, I'd cancel. Yes the concern would be getting stuck over there and having to pay for hotel stay.

I would, and actually I am. I wouldn’t go if I weren’t covered for hotel isolation though - do you not have insurance?

I'll ring my insurance tomorrow and get a full understanding of what's covered.
