I was, briefly. I loved it. How old is DD?

autousername · 10/12/2021 18:23

thanks, how old were you?

she's nearly 5. i'm hoping if i have to it'll only be a temporary measure until she feels she can cope with school

(severe school anxiety, sensory processing disorder and possibly asd)

I home edded for a couple of years in primary then through GCSE s and A levels.
There is a specific home ed board on here which might help you, but I'm happy to help if I can.
Feel free to pm me if you'd prefer! Smile

I homeschool my 9 year old DS he has ASD. I worry about the lack of social interaction, but when it comes to him concentrating he learns better at home. I get him out to the parks etc as much as possible so he doesn't miss out on mixing with other children too much.

Oh I think she'd love it at that age! My DM had to cope with three of us Grin I was 10, siblings were 6 and 5. It sounds like it could be a good fit for your DD? We all enjoyed it but I have very fond memories Smile
