Recommendations for places to eat in Birmingham

We are looking for somewhere lovely to celebrate a graduation near the Symphony Hall.
One of the party is veggie and doesn’t eat fish. Budget up to £45 each.

I don't tend to go into town myself to eat, but there are LOADS of places either at Brindley Place (the canal side, which is a 2 min stroll from the door of the Symphony Hall) or a lot of other places in The MailBox which is about a 5 min walk from there.
Loads will come up if you Google either of them, and then you can choose what is to your taste

Wagamamas at Brindleyplace. No need to book and can cater to most dietary requirements.

There's an excellent veggie fine dining restaurant, within budget - Land in Great Western Arcade.
