The conveyance world is in a mess!

I don't know if you know about Simplify and the IT issues. So many people have had a horrendous experience over the last five weeks due to IT issues, but it goes much deeper that that. If you are on Facebook look at the 'When conveyancing goes rogue' page and read the stories. It is heart breaking. Because I feel for all those people I have set up a petition. Please look and sign and forward the link onto family and friends.

Something about Simplify caught my eye today and I hadn't been aware of it until now. I need to read up and find out more (currently off sick, but work in a related field)

I don't even know what conveyancing is

We are partly caught up in this mess as the vendors we are buying from are using them. Finally today they got in touch to say they'd seen the light and have instructed new conveyancers. Its been weeks of lying, avoiding calls and emails - disgraceful how they've treated people.

Eishet, it is the process of buying and selling property.

EnglishGirl, I am sorry that you got caught up in this mess. Hopefully things will move smoother for you now. Please sign the petition and send the link to your family and friends as this needs to be addressed by Parliament
