How often do your DC have sugary treats?

DH and I are on a mission to get healthy and have recently cut out about 90% of crap. No added sugar, lots of fruit and veg, intermittent fasting (he's doing OMAD whilst I'm on the 18/6). I refuse to calorie count and weigh myself obsessively but I can already tell my thighs and butt have gone smaller. (Sorry, irrelevant but really proud of my progress so had to share!)

Anyway, I've realised that if we have biscuits, crisps, chocolates etc in the cupboard I will reach for said junk in the evenings and ultimately break my 'fast' and obviously spoil my diet. The DC (9 and 12) have generally responded really well to the changes; they enjoy salads and est most vegetables in their meals. However they've started complaining that there are is no chocolate or decent snacks in the house. Previously they had access to junk whenever they wanted (usually 3 or 4 times a week) but it's not something I want to encourage anymore but at the same time I know I can't deny them it forever.

How often do you allow your DC to eat junkfood? How much is too much? And if you're healthy eating like me, how do you control yourself?

Yabu ro deny your children the odd biscuit or chocolate bar just because you dont have the self control to leave them alone.

It's only been a bloomin month since there's been no junk! They're still alive. But obviously I know it's not possible longterm and that's why I'm asking for advice on what is an acceptable amount, and how do other healthy eaters manage to avoid eating it.
