What trivial thing have you overthought your suspicions about to the point of developing a conspiracy theory about? The kind of thing you suspect, but would be far too boring to ever actually bring up in conversation?
I have two:
- I’m convinced that my local McD’s has a secret policy of one apple pie per customer. My wife and I both really like them, and on three seperate occasions in a month (I know, I know - it was a rough month!) we went through the drive thru only to be told that there was only one left. What are the chances that we happened to be the one car, three times in one month, to get the very last apple pie they had?
- I’ve been trying to get a sticker album for my daughter for about two months now. Just your big standard shiny sheet sticker book that you can put stickers on and take them back off again. They simply don’t exist anymore. The ones in the shops are all two or three sheets of stickers and a bunch of normal pages. Even the ones on Amazon listed as reusable are full of reviews saying that they’re actually just normal paper.
I believe Big Sticker have stopped making them to push more stickers on kids whose parents will inevitably have to scrape them off the TV/floor/toilet/table.
