Average speed camera anxiety with diagram

I'm having a panic about this. On the picture the arrows are my route. I was briefly doing 40 to my horror. Logic says since I only passed one camera it should be fine?
I'm very careful about speeding usually abs this is making me very anxious!

Thanks that's what I thought I just need reassurance - it was speeding for seconds I was horrified!

So you turned off before the second camera? You'll be fine.

Not that I live by Average Speed Cameras and do similar regularly at all.

Another tip is reducing your speed to a bit below the speed limit for a while to compensate.

If you were speeding and picked up by a camera doing that speed then you would get a fine, no point worrying about it as that won't achieve anything.

In this case, as it is an average speed setup and you only passed one station it can't have measured your average speed.

They are defiantly average speed cameras as opposed to fixed ones.

You are right I can't undo it - just decide whether to worry or not but it looks like being clocked is impossible in this scenario though.
