How can I remove a grease stain from a pale coloured leather bag?

I just noticed this morning that my pale grey leather work bag has a couple of very noticeable stains right on the front. I thought they were damp marks for as it was raining but now I think that it may be a mark from a takeaway we got on the way home from work last night.

I was in the passenger seat and had my bag in the footwell and we got some fish and chips on the way home after working late. I put the bag also into the footwell. I didn't think the 2 bags were touching but it was dark and they must have been Sad

So, I have 5 circular dark stains right on the front of my beautiful pale grey bag.

Is there anything i can to to remove them without removing the colour from the bag?

I love this bag and am gutted

Talcum powder liberally sprinkled on it and left overnight might work and shouldn’t hurt it.
