Day off from work, bored with no plans

I had some extra annual leave to take so I have taken some random days off in December, today being one of them.

Everyone else is working and I have no plans.

So far I've had a lie in, but I'm feeling bored and restless.

I have no idea what to do today. The only things I can think of are having a real lazy PJ day at home, although I WFH so am used to being able to spend all day at home already, or going into town but I don't have anything to buy/look for.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to not waste today?

Do some baking

What's the weather like where you are? Could you go on All trails app and discover new walks where you live?
If the weather is bad I watch some old black and white classic movies that I havent seen before.

oh my god, I'd never get bored with a day off to myself at home! You lucky thing.

I'd have a long lie in, followed by coffee in bed with my book or netflix for an hour. Then a leisurely shower and get dressed into warm, comfy clothes.

I'd either head out to a nice cafe for brunch, bringing my book or I'd make myself something nice like bacon and eggs and coffee etc

A cat nap in the afternoon or if the weather is nice a walk somewhere I enjoy being.

Plan something delicious for dinner, perhaps something that takes longer than you can usually do on a weekday evening - beef bourguignon & creamy mash or a slow cooked curry with sides etc. You'll have left overs for tomorrow too.

Bake a cake for later.

Put up your christmas decorations if they're not already up

I have a day off today too (and tomorrow) because my main client is off himself, therefore nobody to give me my next project to work on! Suits me.

So far I've had a nice lie in, tea and toast, chilling browsing online. Then I'm going to get dressed, clean & tidy the kitchen, then make a brew and spend the rest of the day reading, catching up and TV and journaling.

Not the most exciting day in the world, but the weather is vile, so I'm staying in, warm and cosy, and taking care of myself for a change!

I'd go for a walk then treat myself to a nice lunch out.

Go for a swim. If that's allowed.
