You can request a printed copy.

ItsSnowJokes · 09/12/2021 08:35

Call 119 and they will send you a paper copy of your covid pass.

GreenWhiteViolet · 09/12/2021 08:35

You can get a letter here instead: www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/get-your-covid-pass-letter/

He can get a letter showing vaccination status, or use the negative results of a test.
This looks to have good info

He should get a smartphone. Modern life is going to be very difficult without one.

I applied for the paper one for my Mum, she can't use a basic mobile phone, let alone a smartphone.

Also, it's not a bad idea to have a paper version anyway. The site was down for maintenance last night planned I reckonGrin so no one could access their pass or loaded test results.

Apart from cost, some people have visual or physical impairments which render small devices pretty much useless.

Due to a health condition its not a good idea. And not everyone can use phones anyway. My dd is severely disabled and can't.

My elderly mum has a very basic mobile and no Wi-Fi so certainly won't have a smart phone. I'm going to order her letter for her.

Me and DH has got ours on our phones but have also got printed copies. We've had to show ours when going to the football ever since we've been able to go back to the stadium and my phone battery is notorious for failing at the last minute so I have my letter as back-up.

AbsolutelyFuckinFabulousDarlin · 09/12/2021 18:47

Good question, when we travelled my phone kept buffering, it was touch and go whether it would work in time for me to fly

ruabon1977 · 09/12/2021 19:45

I have a printed copy. My mobile phone is a work one and I don't take it with me on holiday.
